The Assistant Project Manager or Project Engineer is a foundational role that supports the Project Manager and Site Superintendent in the successful execution of construction projects. This position is responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure project documentation is accurate, communication is fluid, and on-site activities align with project plans. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to develop hands-on experience and grow into a Project Manager role.
Project Administration and Documentation:
● Manage and maintain all project-related documentation, including contracts, drawings, specifications, submittals, and requests for information (RFIs).
● Review and process submittals to ensure they meet project specifications and coordinate with the design team for approval.
● Draft and track RFIs and change orders, ensuring all documentation is accurate and communicated to the relevant parties.
